Los Vatos With Tough Game Against Brew Crew

Los Vatos had trouble keeping up with Brew Crew in a 15-3 loss on Sunday at Castle Park High School.
Brew Crew got on the board in the top of the second inning after Patrick Brault doubled down the left field line, and Robert Sellers singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
Los Vatos tied the game up in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. Los Vatos tied the game at two on a single by Angel Abarca.
A single by Jason Royce gave Brew Crew the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third.
Brew Crew scored two runs in the top of the seventh on a home run to left field by Cassidy McDaniel.
Brew Crew scored seven runs on three hits in the top of the eighth inning. Travis McCarty was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Andrew Garcia drew a walk, scoring one run, Jason Royce singled, scoring two runs, Wesley Sanders hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Richard Kunze doubled, scoring two runs.
Mitch Doucette led things off on the hill for Los Vatos. The right-handed pitcher surrendered nine hits and eight runs (six earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking three. Kyle Sachrison led things off on the hill for Brew Crew. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and three runs over seven and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking seven.
Angel Abarca and Chuck Partridge each collected two hits for Los Vatos. Angel Abarca, Chuck Partridge, and Stephen Snyder each drove in one run for Los Vatos. Javy Aguilar led Los Vatos with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game.
Brew Crew amassed 12 hits in the game. Travis McCarty, the number nine hitter for Brew Crew, led the way with three runs batted in. Travis McCarty went 1-for-3 on the day. Robert Sellers, Brew Crew's number seven hitter, led the team with four hits in five at-bats. Jason Royce collected two hits for Brew Crew in five at bats. Brew Crew had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Kyle Sachrison and Patrick Brault led the team with three bases on balls each. Brew Crew ran wild on the base paths, amassing four stolen bases for the game.
